Congratulations to our 2019 LifeSmarts team from Lincoln High School. Way to go CA!

Welcome to the California State LifeSmarts!
LifeSmarts is a fun and educational competition that teaches middle and high school students the knowledge they need to be successful in today’s marketplace. The program focuses on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, technology, health and safety, personal finance and the environment. It prepares them for the real-world, helping them to become consumer savvy adults.
Students take quizzes online to compete in the program and test their knowledge. The teams with the highest scores compete at the in-person state championship. The winner of the state championship advances to the national championship hosted by the National Consumers League. The program is free for students and coaches.
Public, private, charter and alternative schools are welcome to register as well as faith-based youth groups, library and foster youth teen clubs, home school groups and others. All are welcome! Each team must have an adult coach. Coaches must register their teams on the LifeSmarts website.
Online competition: Open from September 2020 - January 2021. Teams of high school students participate in the online competition to qualify for the California state competition. The state competition will be online. Contact the state coordinator for details.
