    TeamSmarts Challenge

    The 2016 FCCLA Challenge winners from Blair Oaks High School (Missouri)

    Your team could be headed to Nationals this April…with a $2500 head start!

    There are two “wild card” spots at the National LifeSmarts Championship, one for an FBLA chapter and one for an FCCLA chapter.

    WHO: Open to all FBLA and FCCLA chapters nationwide

    WHAT: Take the online TeamSmarts test to qualify

    WHEN: Before February 3 at 11:59 PM EST

    PRIZE: $2,500 to assist with travel and accommodations

    Note: Teams may participate in both the state LifeSmarts tournament and the FBLA/FCCLA TeamSmarts Challenge. If a team wins both their state tournament and TeamSmarts Challenge, the team may decide which one to represent at Nationals. The second-place team in the competition the winners did not choose will be invited to compete on behalf of the state/organization.

     

     

    HOW TO REGISTER YOUR FBLA CHAPTER FOR THE CHALLENGEfbla

    1. Coach registers and creates an FBLA team (NOTE: this is separate from the FBLA competitive event but uses the same team format)

    2. Members create accounts as players and join the coach’s FBLA team

    3. Coach appoints one player to be team captain in the “My Team” section of the Coach’s Corner

    4. Captain finds the “FBLA/FCCLA Challenge” quiz in his or her “My Quizzes” section

    5. Captain gathers team members to take the test before the February 3rd deadline

    6. Coaches are notified in early February of the results
