Virginia LifeSmarts Competition
Welcome to the Virginia LifeSmarts Competition
LifeSmarts...The Ultimate Consumer Challenge is an educational program that develops the consumer and marketplace skills of high school students in a fun way and rewards them for the knowledge they gain. The program complements any high school curriculum and can be used as an activity for classes, groups, clubs and community organizations.
Are you ready for the challenge? Any teenager in grades 9-12 may participate, but each player MUST have an adult coach to register a team. Players and teams may come from schools, families, 4H, FCCLA, FBLA, neighborhoods, community centers, home schools, and other youth groups.
The online competition will be held from September 10, 2012 to February 1, 2013. Top scoring teams will be invited to compete at the state competition at Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA on March 8, 2013. The winning team will represent Virginia the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia, April 20-23, 2013.
