FCCLA Chapters Compete in LifeSmarts

FCCLA chapters are invited to compete in the standard LifeSmarts program. There are three opportunities to get involved:

  1. Compete online with the opportunity to advance to live state and national competitions.
  2. Represent FCCLA at the National LifeSmarts Championship in April.
  3. Compete in TeamSmarts to vie for monthly Chapter Awards.

Compete at the State Level

FCCLA chapters may form Varsity teams of 4-5 students to compete online and in-person through their state LifeSmarts program. If your chapter wins at the state level you will be invited to represent the state at the National LifeSmarts Championship. Click here for state dates and more information about your state program.

LifeSmarts FBLA Chapter Awards

From September through January your team may compete against other FCCLA chapters in the monthly TeamSmarts quiz. Each month the top-scoring FCCLA team will receive a $100 cash prize. Click here to learn more about TeamSmarts.
